Default mid pipe Q

so my weapon R header and S pipe will be here next week and im looking for a mid pipe to go with it. WR website claims that they are 2.5 inches. will it matter if i use a 2.25 mid like the magen pipe or should i get the Tsudo mid-pipe which is 2.5". if i use the the 2.25 mid will i hinder gains in HP? i also have a TRD exhaust so im sure thats not gonna help

megan is actually 2.45443....blah its not a full 2.5 but not a small 2.25. if you stay NA then no it wont hinder hp gains, the engine does not flow enuff to max the piping. on the other hand if you go turbo down the line u might want to get it done right the first time instead of rebuying parts later down the road.

i measured it with a caliper type tool (forgot the exact name of it) it came out to be 2.4, it might hold u back some but i still dont think there is enuff flow to max the piping still.
