Default mmm.. header question?

ok.. ill be honest.. i didnt search.. i thought id give it a try tho..

im looking to do a SC setup and was just wondering which header was quiestest

reason being.. i had a megan header (version 2 if that matters at all) previously.. without a SC and a injen exhaust with TRD CAI.. and it sounded like asssss...

regardless of performance, i feel like if it doesnt sound pleasing, its not worth it.. im not really into the whole loud thing.. like.. i dont want my car to sound like a v8.. but something that sounds nice would be cool.. not too loud..

i might be asking for too much.,.. but its worth a shot.. chime in .. lemme know.. lock if you can link me a thread with all the answers.. thanks!

you will need to add a nice big resonator to make it sound better with an aftermarket header

Maybe this is a dumb question, but when you buy a resonator where do you put it? like do you have to get rid of something to add it?

i went through all the different headers made for our cars and am currently running the mmw header with a s/c. i can say that mmw headers give the least amount of rasp.. couples with a resonator( which is wat i have) and i'm running custom midpipe but stock axleback.. the car is pretty darn quiet.

^^^ i think it's b/c you are running a stock axle back thats why it is quiet. did you feel a gain in HP with your set up?

i used to have trd exhaust, hks exhaust, and magnaflow exhaust. all were too loud for me haha.. the stock axleback does restrict alot of power but ...i choose quietness over performance because i already feel a whole lot of difference with the s/c vs being NA.
