yoo, i just order my MMW headers, on the web site it said that this header make 26 hp gain, has anyone dyno that and see if its true, or if anyone that has the MMW headers do you feel the 26hp gain when u acclerccat?

 

im 99% sure of this but not 100% --- With an intake/header/exhaust they got 26hp added. With just the header (with their attached spipe) they got 19hp ....which is sweet. And from what i hear from pretty much everybody is that you deff feel a difference. Im in the process of doing my homework on the header issue myself. If I had to make a decision on the best product I would say you made the right choice (as of now w/ the current headers released).

 

^That sounds right. On a s/c tc it made 7 more hp than the AW headers if I recall correctly. Needless to say I'll be going MMW in a month or so, lol

 

They need to run another sale. I think $550 is high eventhough they have a good product.

umm.. yes... MMW headers come with a s-pipe.

 

Yea, it came with header,flange,s-pipe. Yea i felt a lil more pool on my tC after i installed my header

 

i don't want to make you nervous... but keep your fingers crossed and hope you get a good header..... i have a MMW header... put it in about 3 months back.. had to send the first one back due to fitment issues.. almost had to send the second one back ...but i was able to drill out the holes on the mounding flange... anyways... even til this day people are still ciomplaining about fitment issues.....

but they are great guys.. and will work with you to get it fixed if you have issues.. but to have to send it back is a pain...

 

no kidding - i havent heard of people having problems ..... that doesnt mean they arent .... i just havent heard anything. thanks for the 411 petem

 

i can attest to the fitment issues...

my header originally came off of another tC and when on that car it performed wonderfully without any issues. once installed on my car though, the header had VERY little clearance beside the lower engine cradle. because of this, the header would rattle against two points on the cradle at idle and various other RPM points throughout the rev range. i brought it to an exhaust shop and had them look at it. they took a "convincer" bar and shoved it away from the cradle. this worked for a couple of days and then it started to rattle again. took it back this past saturday and they loosened the header --> spipe bolts and then retightened the one closest to the cradle to absolute hell and the second one just to spec (in hopes that this would hold the header away from the cradle). thus far i haven't had any rattles to speak of. we'll see in a week or so though because that's how long it took for the rattles to come back after the last time they "fixed" it.
dont let this scare you though. even with the rattles everytime i bring the engine to 6k there's nothing but a smile on my face :D

 

looks good, but the price is obnoxious.

 

the MMW is a beautiful peice.. you may want to look at DC... they also have a 4-2-1 header... and it is cheaper..

 

^^ actually dc sports only has a 4-1 header....someone else is prodcuing the first 4-2-1 for the tC ill havet o see who it was.

 

actually the MMW header is the first 4-2-1 header available for the TC.... my bad though.. i thought DC had a 4-2-1 for the TC aswell.. i swear i saw it somewhere... ohwell.... i guess MMW is the only one then for a 4-2-1...

id like to see a picture of it... the MMW header is way long and has a short s-pipe.. im wondering what DC did fro the tc...

 

i ordered my headers on sunday and i did next day delievery and i still havent got it

 

yea the one the list on that website is the same one as on the dc sports one...its only a 4-1 header....thats what everyone gets...its only 1 piece not 2.
