MMW header fitment issues....
If anyone can help, please do. I just put on the MMW headers today and i have an exhaust leak where the header connect to the s-pipe. It seems like the flange is too big but i dont know. Anyone know what I can do to fix it?
Plus i have a really loud and raspy car and my friends said they could hear me all the way down the street. I have the TRD axel back and thats it. So if i get a 22' or 30' resonator welded into the stock mid pipe then that should take away rasp and quite my car down right?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, otherwise i am going to go to a muffler shop and have them fix it and put in a resonater.

i recommend buying the stock exhaust gasket brand new from a toyota dealer, the only problem that i ran to is that i had to trim it down quite a bit.. so it can fit really tight, other than that i have no exhaust leaks.
i have CC full exhaust, high flow cat, 14" resonator and i have no rasp and my car is ALOT quieter than my old alphawerks and CC s-pipe set up.

Its not the gasket. Its the part that connects the header to the s-pipe piece. I can feel the hot air coming out from it. Thats where the clicking noise is coming from too.

Yea, cus it comes with 2 parts. The header and then the part that turns into the s-pipe. Well there is a flange that connects the two. Well me and my friend tried like 4 different times to fix it. it just wouldnt leave. My friend knows what he's doing too cuz he has a 89 E30 BMW with a Custom T4 setup. Now i have the leak and my car sounds like a rice rocket on steroids.
PLEASE HELP MONSTERMOTORWORKS!!!!!

yeah i know its' two parts! but being that they sell and ship them together they should atleast test fit them before shipment. i'm so mad cuz I don't want this to happen to mine when it finally comes in (on backorder)
wow... im guess the MMW header "IS" a hit and miss... i would have thought that they would have fixed their problems by now... yes i know they are hand made but im pretty sure they have a jig to setup the header on.. with the quality control issue they have if were them, i would be checking fitment on 100% of the headers that go out..
anyhow... i would call them... one thing about them is they do work with you on fixing the issue... on the RASP... yup.. the TRD axle back sounds like total crap with a header... a larger resonator may reduce or even kill the rasp... but im not sure it will make it any quieter...
i had a TRD axle back installed aswell and bought the MMW header... ended up re-installing the factory axle back.....
