Default MMW Header Installed!

So, I installed my (used) MMW Header/ S-Pipe last night. The install took, maybe 3 hours tops... with beer breaks and slacking included. It fits well, sounds great.. a little louder than I would have liked, but its worth it.

Does anyone know where I could find a gasket for between the S-Pipe and the Intermediate pipe (Or whatever it's really called?). I have a faked paper gasket covered in Copper on there now, but I'm not sure how well that's gonna hold up?

Thanks!

yeah.. that gasket is one expensive little gasket... what i ended up doing it taking the old one... which should still be on your stock s-pipe.. and using it... it works better than just a plain old gasket...

if i remember correctly .. it was like $40 or so at the dealer...

No CEL. It popped on when I first started it up, but thats just because I was anxious to hear it and forgot to replug the O2. After I cleared that, its been fine... and I've already driven it 700+ miles.

I highly reccomend this header. I love it!!!

Yeah she even beat Justin with his Megan Racing header, Megan racing exhaust , and Weapon R intake . Must suck to lose to a girl . It was nice meeting you in NJ Jessica. I have a few vids of your runs if you want them.

My best time was:
10.405 @ 67.42

with a 2.492 60'

Any suggestions on what I should do next (aside from turbo or supercharger... haha, or the better driver mod?) I feel like I want to be faster! That was pretty much the most fun ever, I think I found a new addiction!

I don't have any pics yet.. I have about 20 on my camera but the cord to get them onto my computer is missing!

I would love the vids if you wouldn't mind sending them! And it was nice to meet you also!

I'd go for an upgraded clutch and lighter flywheel.... that'll free up some power too...

Glad you like the header.... I'm almost starting to miss that top end power. lol..... and now I'm engaged...... $ for car - $ for wedding = no turbo

- Dante

p.s. I definately reccomend getting a custom made midpipe with at least a 17in resonator. I had a 17inch long by 6in wide res with that header and it sounded great.... a little loud, but really good.

The gasket you're talking about is called a donut gasket and the other pipe you're talking about is called a midpipe.

I don't believe the gaskets are expensive (although I've never tried to buy one) and they can be bought at your local toyota dealership

Is your time below before or after your header? Also, is your car an automatic or 5spd? My best time was:
10.405 @ 67.42

with a 2.492 60'

I am currently driving 10.26 with a 80 pounds of subs in the back. What did she run before she put the headers on?

I didn't run it before I put the headers on...

But I had 18 million things in the car with me (and a pretty heavy sub also), and was exhausted from the 5 hour ride/ no sleep before. hahaha. I'm sure I can run a better time than I did... I hope?

What mods do you have?

THats pretty good without the header. I thought you ran that with the header. I currently just have a Megan Cat-Back exhaust.
