true, but my point is expressed in that you can get a ____ load more power if you were to go with a turbo...rather then spend the money like i did.......as far as the mid pipe question i re-did everything from my headers....all the back to the muffler. all stainless

TCpete, I have a 2.5" midpipe with a resonator. I loved it once I slapped that on my car. It's definitely noticeable and makes the car a bit louder.

pictures please. We need to know what you are all experiencing. We have done a few install here and have had no problems what so ever with clearances on anything .

hmmm u could get a s/c along with the mmw header setup but ul have to keep the stock intake... or if u really want the 5-10hp the injen cai gives u... ur gonna have to spend a lot more money on a piggyback ecu... in other words get turbo (zpi stage 1 gives u great #)

and the s/c mmw and s pipe u can pray for 220whp!!

Our CEL eliminator is adjustable to a certain extent. It does matter how far you thread it into the SECOND O2 sensor bung. Try rethreading it a little bit out then lock it wit hthe large nut. Then reset the ECU, and try that .

So I just got under my car to tighten the bolts holding the header and s-pipe together to try to stop the rattling noise, but it didn't help. My pipes aren't touching the frame of the car either...so I don't know what could be the problem... Any help?

I got a weird rattling noise too, Its not necessarily as loud as a metal to metal rattle would be, Its kind of a unique rattle? like lil small metal peices are shooting out or something right? lol

Maybe like little shavings of metal that are inside a container that is being shaken? I think we are experiencing the same thing. Any yeah, no pipes are resting against the frame either...

It's occurring between the header and s-pipe connection (I went under the car when it was up on jack stands while it was on to figure it out (I know it's dangerous, but I was desperate haha))

Where is your rattle taking place?

I do that too, i just make sure i have jack stands. mine is yeah between that connection. It is NOt rattling against any kind of metal frame or anything, weird huh? And it cant be literally metal shavings if this rattle has been going on for about 1k miles for me. Pretty weird. i mean its bearable. it also comes back wen i drive till 3.5k rpm.

Hmmmm. I can't really here it because by the time I'm at 3.5K im going at WOT hahahahaha. But yeah, I think we are experiencing the same thing, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I think that the type of bolts we are using may be the problem...

Is your exahust gasket/doughnut thing covered all the way by the s-pipe? Because mine isn't.
