Default MMW Header and S-pipe installed..mini review and video clips

Just installed my MMW header today along with the s-pipe and man, sure sounds hella nice now. Although I do have some rasp at the higher rpms, I'll be getting a new midpipe with two resonators on Tuesday to cut that down. The power is definitely there, I could feel it right away from 2-6k rpms there is a nice pull. I followed the antifouler method for the S-pipe, worked flawlessly. No CEL at all. Header and S-pipe mated up perfectly, no gap. The quality is excellent, very nice welds. I believe its a good purchase all around. thats about it for my mini review

I have the MMW header and S-Pipe and the TRD Exhaust. I just had a custom midpipe made with a high flow cat and an 18inch (6inch round) resonator. There is NO rasp and it's nice and deep. At full throttle it sounds real good, but cruising you hardly even know it's there.

where did you get the torques specs for everything? what did yout torque everything down to?

two resonators huh eujin? what about your cat? then you will lose some low end torque without one..

i want to do a custom exhaust but i dont know if there is room for a muffler, high flow cat, and muffler all before the axle back? does anyone know if there is? i need all of it put in before the stock muffler attaches to the mid pipe

o and eujin, your car is lookin nice and soudning okay

thanks blackonblack...i'll see tomorrow if one is enough for me, and how it sounds. I should get a high flow, i'll peep things out tomorrow at the exhaust shop.

Tony, I have an auto bro. Like I said, there is a nice pull, and the power is definitely there and sounds mean.

agmech, I just tightned things down till I thought it was tight enough..You know the feeling you get where you think its just enough and not too much? lol

so your whole set up is custom? like you are having a muffler shop do all of it? make sure you get some sort of cat.. cuz if you dont, your car will smell like crap, and you will be making alot of co2 which is bad for you and the people behind you..

you have to think of others

yea Dave, lol. just got back from the exhaust shop, ended up putting one 30" res on with new piping. no rasp now, thank god...now to get rid of the CEL

blackonblack, my CEL came on like a day after I put the header on(I did the antifouler trick)...my guess was that the antifouler didnt work.

Now check this out, this happened just within the past hour or so. I had the CEL on after I got my new midpipe and resonator put on today. Went to FedEx real quick to mail something off, came back into the car, started it and I was like WTF, the CEL went away! sweeet!no idea how, and I didnt d/c the - terminal on the battery. could be since the midpipe is larger, theres more airflow but what would i know, lol.

oh yea, semaJames i'll take some after I wash the car later

o.. damn MMW and the CEL. didnt it come with the eliminator. either way, how does the car feel now, i too have an auto and am getting these headers ;)

hey black on black, notice how aweseome that header looks on flint mica doesnt look as good on any other color... .espesially BSP!
