4-2-1 isn't a race header, its a street performance header. 4-1 is race... So i dont understand why you label the 4-2-1 header race.
Also, it doesn't matter what tranny you have. Header won't effect your trans.

If you look at the configurations.
Most Race Headers today are 4-2-1.
4-1 race headers are old technology.
it all has to do with exhaust scavaging.
Tubing diamter and length.
Burns stainless has been fabricating race headers for year, thats the same config they use.

We have also tried the 4-1 config, with no promising gains like the 4-2-1.
Do some searches and you'll see the difference between a 4-1 header or our header on this forum.
Dyno results have been posted by many already.

Did you guys find a fix for the CEL lite yet ???
I LOve this header..very well made and makes me car go faster...you can tell the power gain....yes sir..
but it kills me to see the CEL lite come on...
Hope you fined a fixer uper soon..

were working on a flash for the ecu.
one to fix the cel lite for everyone who has a header.
it shuld wortk for all TC's with any kind of header.
And were working on a flash for our NA setups.
trying to get more power and torque out of this car.
Not to mention wer in the middle of making a sheet metal intake manifold for the Xb and next will be the TC.
