For 850, how is yours better than the alphawerks or dc sports header?

look at the post for the titanium header.
Ours is a 4-2-1 design which is made solely for HP.
This is our Race Header design.

It's a 4-2-1 race header vs. Alphawerks 4-1 header. It should yield better power throughtout most of the powerband. Look at alphawerks 4-1 design

Hmm it does look a lot nicer than the Alphawerks one and yes for $850 it should at least include the s-pipe too.

It does include the S-Pipe.

4-1 Headers are simple to make, usually thought to have best exhaust flow.

But it is not the case, You want the cylinders to breathe in sync and flow easily.

4-2-1 the exhaust flows out of the 2 cylinders and then merge into a collector and then into another collector.
Smooth flow means faster exit.

The way we design the headers we have to take into consideration.

1. Engine size.
2. When the VVTi comes in on the power band.
3. Maximum NA Potential of the engine.
4. Engine Stroke and firing order.
5. Pipe size for each part of the header.
6. Where to make a Flex joint for front wheel drive cars.
7. Fittment.
8. Powerband ( low mid or high end power only )
9. Tubing Length.
10. Collector sizes.

We really put alot of time into our headers and will do anything to protect our designs.

If you want to see the results of the Dyno on this header come to our Dyno Day.

We will not sell our S-Pipe, because it only fits our Header,
it was designed to work in conjuntion with our Race Header only.

You will be able to buy the header at the dynoday.

If you look at the two headers, you will see the the individual ehaust tubes join from 4 (one for each cylinder) into 1 collector (on the alphawerks). You can tell where this hapens at the weld point. On the MMW, the tubes join into two primaries at a collector, and then later on into one. Essentially, the difference is in the primaries, and how long they are.

With a 4-2-1 design, supposedly you get power gains throughout the entire power band (read: throughout entire range of acceleration), whereas with a 4-1 design, you get more power, but only in the higher end (I believe above 4000 RPMs on the tc engine, dpeending on what header youa re talking about). I say "supposedly" because I have not seen dyno sheets that confirm this, I'm going just by what I have been told.

Clearly, if that is all true, then a 4-2-1 design would be much better. Even if it were to make less overall power, if it is available at lower RPM's, and last throughout the entire range, it would be more beneficial than having to wait for the engine to rev up to take advantage of more power, and then keep the engine in the usable powerband.

why would this be emissions illegal??
as long as it isn't throwing a CEL, and the cat from the midpipe isn't removed, this shouldn't be illegal at all.
