Buying coilovers just to make the wheels "flush". Oh, and stretching tires. And to add to that, spending $2,000 on wheels that are designed for the track, $1,000 on ultra sticky tires that were designed for the track, and $1,500 for coilovers that were designed for the track...only to never even consider going to the track.

And no, that's not directed at you Flint, it's directed at just about everyone lol.

But honestly, I just don't see why. Coilovers offer no more performance than springs/shocks if they're not corner balanced, high end wheels are no better than steelies for cruising down the highway....

I should change the thing about tires, because they'll actually make a difference no matter where you're driving.

I WAS KIDDING! OMG i wasnt attacking you, but if you wanna get all serious, then you DONT have a JDM header, just a generic off brand header, your "downpipe" is actually called an S-pipe. Turbo car's have downpipes. and your rim's.... well they're... generic as well... just parts people buy instead of getting the quality stuff.

i'm not here to offend you. but you asked the question i'm just simply clearing up why i think its worthless to me..

 

haha Carbon, i PLAN on putting my wheels and coilover's to good use, just need a damn turbo kit to get things going...

worthless= waiting a year for a turbo kit

 

ment wasnt direcomcted toward anyone in particular, but the ones with $1500+ wheels are the first to say a header is worthless, save and go turbo. well i think thats volks/rays/etc are needless. save and go turbo. if someone wants a header for power then so be it. I/H/E/P dont equal turbo power no, but they also dont come close to turbo price either

 

look it up..a downpipe is also called an s- pipe..and no, my rims were a lil over 1,000.00..and what do u mean quality stuff? u mean ____ ppl cant buy unless they have alot of money??? i do my best my friend , im a disabled afghanistan war vet...i do my best and i do what i can...ppl have diff. opinions about parts... just bcuz i chose megan over hks, or greddy isnt bcuz its cheap, its bcuz thats what i wanted. and im sry, the only part on my car that is worthless is the header...trust me i know that..

Engine Torque Dampers. They're 3x the cost of motor mounts, they break easily, they don't do anything at all except transfer noise and vibration. They don't stop any movement at all. Complete. Waste. Of. Money.

Budget boosting. The ultimate failure. I have never seen one well-running budget boosted car.

Boost w/out supporting mods. I made this mistake by not getting the clutch/flywheel/mounts/tune when I installed my turbo. 4 months I went, and I thought my car ran great. Fast, felt good, no problems. Then I got the supporting mods and I wanted to stab myself for not doing it 4 months ago. It makes a huge difference. And by huge, I mean my car went from feeling like a squeemish little toy piece of ____, to feeling like a ____ing real car.

eBay projector headlights. Seriously?
Anything made by Megan Racing. Anything.
That stupid ____ing Wakaba badge. You don't ____ing drive in Japan, you don't ____ing drive a JDM car, you never even been to Japan. Wakaba badge = stupid ____ing ricer.
Shocker stickers. Holy ____, you're the coolest of cool. If you have a shocker sticker on your car, you've officially admitted to the world that you take it in the ___, and you enjoy it.

and no i dont have a lot of money, i save, save and save my money. i'm simply a waitor at a restaurant. any set of generic rims will cost $1000... think about it, each rim $150 each, + tires another $120 each. and thats GENERIC rims and tires...

 

another thing i hate is the systems that make the car rattle..lol..u cnt hear the music..just loud booms and p.o.s sound

 

24 inch rims on a car that is worth half the price of the rims + tires
