ok im relatively new to this site and my scion is relatively new...to me at least. she's an '07 got her in '09. I myself find it kind of pathetic that i have yet to do anything to this car except tint the windows and get nice seat covers for my front seats lol . so since im somewhat new on the car scene and id like to not rice it out i was wondering what is the best performance kit to buy for my scion.

Get a Dezod or Greddy turbo, do a hid headlight retrofit, get some tien s tech springs, koni shocks and struts, magnaflow exhaust, 18" wheels, front and rear sway bar, and a new sound system, and you have pretty much done it all....

4-5k to do everything right. Thats final price kit including tune and most unexpected problems.

Rims and drop. If you do that, you won't be bugged about much else.

I'd start with new wheels and suspension.

To anti-4wd/sissy the car, lower it now and save up for wheels. Don't buy any performance crap if you are going turbo because you are wasting your money since you'll be replacing it with the turbo kit. Go with P-Tuning or Descendant for a turbo kit. Both are very nice. Rear sway bar at the bare minimum for handling.

if hes getting stechs he doesnt care about handling! so sway bars r a waste...especialy if you dont track the car 3 wheel driving over un even surfaces sucks at times...then again i guess when you pull a sweeping corner it makes it all worth while

back to you car if you dont have money to invest in rims powder coat the stockies there is a thread on that and some of the results can change the whole look of the car and with the money you save put towards a turbo kit or maybe some nice coil overs if your into the twistys!

Either company is good. Like I said, make it your car not the communities.

Honestly, I'd hold up on boosting the thing. And pay attention to more suspension. It's kind of useless boosting FWD car or should I say having 200+ HP on fwd is useless. Due to power loss.

If you wanted turbo'd car or faster car ... you could've gotten rwd or awd pre turbocharged car. You'll most likely to encounter less problem....

But I would definitely beef up the handling... makes the car more fun on the road.

Buuuuut that's just me.

^ Thank god that's just you because our cars can go low 12's on stock motors in the 1/4... useless? No.

I want a Shelby GT500 but I can't afford it, which is why (I'm assuming) we all drive Scions. You get a very healthy package for the price.

You can turbocharge a weed-whacker if you know what you are doing. It doesn't take much to make a street safe daily driver 300 whp. It doesn't have to be pre-turbo to be useful.

Buuuuut that's just me.

thanx yall i have alot to think about to put into this car. i cant really go with a rear wheel drive car because i live in colorado and that would be asking to get stuck in deep snow. the turbo is just the first part. hopefully i can get a hold of an AIT K1 wide body kit for her as well. make her special. and i have to do something good to seperate my car from all the others and the dreadful looking 2011 tC
