OK..Well just curious to see what people will say...

I got my DC Sport exhaust today...was about to install it...
and noticed that it didnt come w/ the 2nd pipe piece!!!..the pipe that connects from the muffler to the stock pipe...HUMMMM..what da hey...u know!!
I asked my friend you sure it wasnt in the box?..He said Nope!!

And this was shipped directly from DC Sport warehouse too!!!

Do I need to contact DC Sport???...or the people I ordered it through????

I would contact the seller then contact the company that you used to pay for the product. Also contact UPS/USPS and get a shipping weight so they know you arent ripping them off and saying you didnt get it.

Keep pushing the issue. The exhaust was designed to work as a kit not just parts of the kit. Plus that bend will be hard for a local muffler shop without reducing exhaust size.

Definitely, keep pushing the issue. Get what you paid for and don't let them get away with it. I don't know if it'll be hard for a muffler shop to duplicate, but they'll sure charge you an arm and a leg for it.

OK...Its now Wed. Havent heard from James! since Mon. and
I had to call him myself!!..

Tomorrow I will Raise Hell!...HaHa....

then Call DC Sports myself too!

I dont think it will be that hard for a Muffler Shop to add the 2nd piece of piping...looks like just an L shaped pipe w/ a Flange...right???

I am going to a Muffler Shop tomorrow to get a piece made..I cant wait any longer!!!!...sure it will cost maybe less than $150 hopefully!!....But I am tired of using my energy to get these Doo-Doo heads to help me out!!

I suggust not buying from Promotiontuning.com

I doubt it's anyone at Promotion Tuning's fault, seeing as how the part was sent directly from DC Sports. I'm sure James is doing what he can. James can't send you the piece you are missing if he never had the exhaust in his possession in the first place. It appears more likely that DC Sports is giving James the run around so he can't give you the update that you want. Several shops that I've seen get blamed for "poor customer service" are mainly complaints of not constantly keeping people updated, even though the shop does not have anything new to report. I guess the shops figure the customers would be ____ed off if they kept calling to report the status hasn't changed from the previous update. Also, their shop is pretty busy with a lot of customers. I should know since I've been there. They also have a relatively small staff, so dedicating all of their time and effort while blowing off their other customers is not an option. Basically, I don't agree with blaming someone for something that is out of their control.

I see your point of view and I respect your opinion...
But I did everything that they told me to do..They told me 2 take pictures of what I got and I did everything right there and then....James even told me that DC Sports is usually really fast on responding back...they would tell me that they will call me back then I havent heard from them in 2 days I called them today and they couldnt tell me anything about the part...
I understand they are a small staffed but if you want to keep customers Happy you should go the extra mile to get the job done!...I know That is what I would do...just so that customer does future business.....Especially for a small shop to gain new customers and a good name!!!...
Oh well they lost my business......Not being Mean Just dont believe they are trying hard enough as they could be.

i would've just waited for the problem to be resolved. now even if you do get the part it won't even be a good paperweight. how much it cost you to do? pics of the piping they did?
