Default My ZPI Stage 1 kit

I have been a long time reader of the forum thought I would finally post. I am a 65 year old retired old man and really do not want to get into all this bickering. Please keep that out of my stuff.

I am a local to ZPI and basically have everypart they offer on my Scion. I once was a factory backed Aprilla Motorbike racer and thought I would guy buy a little car to have fun with. I looked at the EVO and some others but Kenny talked me into the tC said I would be very happy in the end. That was last summer. I am very happy this summer, the car runs great and I love it. I know a lot of you are soon to be getting your kits so I will share some pics of mine.

I just want to add that my expirence with these guys has been nothing short of great they really are a top notch group of guys. Anyone that knows them can vouch for this as I am sure david will. I have go to meet him a couple times around the shop.

Parts on my car
ZPI Stage 1 turbo kit (10psi)
ZPI catback
ZPI S-pipe
ZPI Stage 1 head package
Tein S-tech lowering springs
18" wheels
Nitto Tires
DC strut bar
TRD rear sway bar

I do not know how to post pics on these forums so I will have kenny do it for me.

Thanks for reading.

what is it with old people and putting things on thier antenna? car looks good, have to hate how the damn Tial WGs like to change colors.

was the AEM intake already there before turbo kit, or is it now being used as the intake pipe?

If they've been waiting all this time on the pipes to be bent, then why are they using couplers allover the intake pipe? The purpose of being custom bent is to have one solid mandrel piece, instead of just buying the bends, cutting them up, and using couplers.

Also, I've noticed every turbo and wastegate is placed slightly differently on every kit I've seen. Are you custom fabbing every kit, because with the different placement's there would be no way to make a jig to mass produce these.

Damn that's off the chain. So far, ZPI has the most # of Scions with their kits on them than any other manufacturer right now, that I've seen. Much credit to you guys.

Thank You Colin for continually bringing negativity to our threads.

These kits are different as we continue to change things making them better. This kit was built prior to us getting the turbo inlet pipe in, that is why there is a two piece MAF pipe. Truth being told is that MAF pipe is off of a Celica GTS AEM cold air intake cut in halve.

As far as us mounting the wastegate in different places this is true also. We continually test our product and have a final design which is what we mass produced. It varies from the one you see here. We pre built the manifold and this way relocating or changing the turbo or wastegate flange is as simple as drilling a whole and laying down a weld.

We now have the pipes and we will eventually replace this once we get caught up on orders. The car runs good and the customer is happy so we are okay with it. The kit looks good and performs at well over 300whp.

Thanks

-ZPI
