An intercooler is used to cool the incoming air charge from a TURBO to reduce IAT's (intake air temps) so that it will properly combust in the motor.
Now, seeing as we're speaking n/a, this will do NOTHING AT ALL. In fact you'll likely LOOSE hp because longer intake=lower hp. (obviously something like a CAI will gain over stock, but if you go much further then this without some sort of boosting device, you'll get jack crap) None the less, the most you could feasibly do is use a front mount intake which would do little.
To run an n/a inter cooler it would HAVE to be like this.
