Default Need some advice on an exhaust

I've had my tC for about a month now doing a few mods here and there. I've been focusing on the appearance/interior more so than the performance, but now its time to start with the performance modding!

One thing I am avoiding with my tC is the rice sound or a riced look. So what I'm looking for is some opinions on what are some of the quieter exhausts out there on the market? So if anyone has any advice please help me out!

I found a video on here of the TRD exhaust system.
I only wish it had been a drive-by or a take off instead of just a "rev in neutral".
It sounds pretty good to me. Mine's on order...

Ya. I think Im probably going to go with the TRD exhaust just due to the sound of it compared to others. Its more of my style. What is the HP gain on it?

In my opinion the king of the rear section tC exhausts right now is the HKS. Excellent quality, low aggressive sound, angled look, much cheaper then the GReddy. TRD looks too much like stock, the HKS is the winner. We have some more on the way.

the HKS is an awesome exhaust but I think or maybe its just the way people install them, its all crooked and doesn't meet up with the hole in the bumper, and was hanging down. I think if you spend some time with the rubber hangers etc it would be perfect, next up is the Greddy, great looking, and my guess is with the little muffler it has, it could be one of the best performing of the axle backs based on flow through the setup, with HKS being close due to their well known R&D on products

I just installed my Greddy exhaust adn damnn this thing sound great not tooo loud and the tone is a real rich deep tone. Not only that but its a great do it yourself exhaust. Only took me 15 mins to install. The tip fits flush with the bumper unlike others where it come out tooo far. In my opinion its the best cat back out right now.

I thought it was an axle-back too. Either way, can you post pictures of it, please?

It IS a rear axle back, not full system. Pics are here, these are of an associates tC with the EVO2. We should still have some in stock too.

Technically it is an axle back but because of the way the tC's exhaust GREDDY calls it cat back...at least thats what i was told. Anyway i'll try to get some pics up. As i start to break it in it starts sounding better and better. NICE DEEP RUMBLE....purrrrr baby purrrrrr

TRD Exaust gives about 4-5 whp gains.

funny, everyone either hates or loves the "Angled Look" exhaust. not too many people who just think its ok. I still love it. Looks more aggressive to me that way.

hahahha "crooked". thats the style in japan, if you notice not that many of Japanese exhaust manufacturers make their exhaust straight back like domestics. you're way too used to domestics, you gotta go to japan, 95% of their aftermarket exhausts are like that.
