New style MEGAN exhaust
fastandcurious (lol) - that goes between the header and the start of the megan pipes. "donut gasket"
however, it could also be a gasket to connect two of the megan pipes together and you may have to reuse the stock donut gasket that is on the end of the header...
pics would help and I suggest you look at the megan instructions!
good luck!

instructions? *looking around* what instructions?
i figured there would be a similar gasket in the stock setup and this one was a replacement for it, but i just wanted to make sure. i'm having trouble with their site but i'm going to try and contact them. thanks.

but yea, there is a similar gasket at the end of the header (where it meets the s-pipe? mid-pipe? i dunno, whatever is RIGHT after the header. hehe
i'm looking at the axle back version, do you think there will be any fittment issues? also is it like most axle backs on the tc where there isn'tand gasket and all i have to do is unbolt the 2 bolts with the spings on them and replace the stock muffler with the megan one
just to update, i called megan racing and the guy said that the donut gasket they provide replaces the stock one that goes between the header and mid-pipe. i'm assuming he meant between the s-pipe and mid-pipe.

you will know where the donut ring goes after you take off the stock one. you should have 2 springs with the kit at well.
the install took me 40 minutes by the way for the catback...its cake

Sounds awesome, but I want to know if this exhaust adds performance!
sounds AND looks awesome! and to whoever said it sounds stock, that is absolutely not true. i'm completely stock (no cai) and it sounds nice and deep. what i love is that it's hardly noticealble at freeway speeds unless you downshift or something like that. plus all that shiney metal down there looks hot!
omg bahahaha thaks for the sound clip!!!
i expected it to be alot deeper
... but at least its not too ricey, and for the price this is a MUST BUY!!!
ill get one and dyno it if no one else does

Don't get this exhaust if you plan on getting a header... while it sounds great without them, even with a high-flow cat welded on, the 2.5" piping and header in general will beat the snot out of your resonator and cat... so, I personally am trying to trade my OE-RS axleback portion for another axleback that (1) sounds more aggressive [I want a louder exhaust... some don't] and (2) I want to combat the rasp... at the moment, I'm looking at the HKS exhaust because I've heard it with a header and it sounds good, so... but that's all me.
