there is no 3 inch verison...and i wouldnt suggest any size higher than 2.5 inches for N/A or S/C equipped cars, its just stupid if you do. you always want to have some back pressure, unless you have a turbo, that is something else.

but this exhaust will be out very soon, like in a week or two, so ill keep yall posted.

aznchild doesnt seem to be doing his job on postin info so aznchild, YOUR FIRED

i havent purhcased this exhaust, but i plan to get the midpipe jus because ITS awesome. i can prolly get this exhaust for about 350..
There is a pre-cat on the exhaust manifold, and an 02 sensor on the s-pipe. Every "cat-back" system built for the tC is built from S-pipe back. There are no cats anywhere on the midpipe. The tC's design is as follows: Exhaust manifold > S-pipe > Mid-pipe > Axle-back. The MR design for the midpipe actually breaks up the midpipe into 2 sections, replacing the OEM midpipe which is usually just 1 giangantic long piece from S-pipe to axle-back.

first off, NEVER debate with someone who knows more than you, and always think before you talk. the tC system is as follows:

Header > Primary Cat > S-pipe > Secondary Cat > Midpipe > Resonator > Mid Pipe > Axle Back

and there are two o2 sensors, on on the header ,and on in the s-pipe..when you get a a CEL, its because of the primary o2 sensor located on the header, not on the s-pipe. every cat back on the market is not from the s-pipe back, Magnaflow and ARK both start after the cat, and mount using a clamp, therefore you need to cut your midpipe.
And about the MR design for the midpipe, the only reason it is in two pieces is so its easy for the consumer to install, not for any other reason.

you still dont believe me? check this picture out of a STOCK mid pipe

the red is the SECONDARY CAT LOCATED ON THE MIDPIPE

and the blue, is a resontaor located on the midpipe as well

now never disagree with someone if you do not have enough knowledge or facts to back up your claim

damn...

dude, you're full of it. your knowlegde is not 100%, so don't act like you're a tC expert.

First off, there are not two O2 sensors on the tC. the tC uses a air fuel ratio sensor on the exhaust manifold. The O2 sensor is on the S-pipe.

Most of DarkApathy's information is correct. reread his reply, he means there are no cat on the megan racing mid pipe. he knows that there is a cat on the stock mid-pipe.

DarkApathy thought the cat was on the Spipe, I had to remove his response because it was not appropriate. Everyone needs to calm down.

You are right about the sensors.

As soon as anyone has sound clips or dyno results please post! I was gonna wait and get the Draxas exhaust, but I decided to not get a header (seems to be a no-no with the supercharger) so rasp shouldn't be a problem. This exhaust has me very excited. Can't wait to hear official pricing!
