Give me a little time man lol. I'm not sure of it's size because it has some generic headsinked encasing but it is probably around 5k. It won't help at all if you can't mess with the fuel ratios, judging by your sig I'm sure you can. It also must be wired in parallel.
Easiest way to test it would probably be to cool the MAF to 30-40 degrees and check the resistance of the factory IAT resistor. Connect a multimeter, set on a 20k resistance scale, to the IAT pin and ground. Another way if you want to do the mod regardless would be to get a 0 to 20k potentiometer and just turn it until the IAT reads what ever degree F you want it to on a live data OBDII scanner.
That said the camcon and FIC did the heavy lifting, advancing the spark timing helps but not specifically in peak power.

Finally got around to towing it to my garage literally an hour ago. Oil pan had minimal gravel grit, it had a few cans of beer poured into it, intake is cracked from the guy wrenching on it and the header and VC are trashed appearance wise from being keyed up and bathed in alcohol. Flushed it as best as I could without running the engine, cleaned out the VC and the head then changed the oil for good and rigged the intake to allow it to run. It sounded fine but I didn't go so far as to rev it yet with the damaged intake, I have a spare intake from another TC build I did so we are going to put the RX8 TB setup on it and test it out. I couldn't seal the intake fully so it did pulsate from 1000 to 2000 and it sound fine but only getting back on the road and the dyno will tell.

Hey you said you switched the wires- which wires did you switch?
First attemp RX8-TB= FAIL no power and no life
i will switch to the TC board and see what happens i just need some screws =P
Please let me know asap on that wiring you swapped!

Sounds like whoever did that to your car had some serious issues. Glad to hear that you at least got the car back running again and I hope everything works out for you. What happened to you is why I bought my alarm with a pager on it so I can know exactly when the alarm is going off. I live in Chicago and had people hating on me and doing stuff to my car but after the alarm installation....haven't had any issues.

He's still using it as his DD. It has just around 25-30K miles on the built motor. Only problems, if you don't count the vandalism, since building it was the TB gaskets went bad and I had to reinstall the rear main seal. The engine hasn't shown any wear problems since it was vandalized so we managed to completely save it.
