Default Next move?

My tC has both the TRD Exhaust and Cold Air intake. Out of curiosity what are the horsepower gains from both of them? Also wanted to know (through reading on other threads) if i got a Header with an S-Pipe would i get "rasp"?

Also would getting a Header and S-Pipe void warranty? Thinking about it i think it might but i'm sure most of you know better than i do.

Alot if not all of your questions have been covered already, use the search button. If you were to get the s-pipe/header combo there will be rasp, but it can counteracted by a larger resonator. But then again it also depends on the type you get. I for sure there is a thread (or two or three) that have covered the gains for the trd and cai.

and there is a thread about warranty.

Do both!

Yes, you will pretty much get some rasp no matter what combo you choose. The only way around it would be to use a resonator of some sort.

By the way, you must be one of the very few people who has both the TRD exhaust and the TRD intake. Did you get them installed at the dealer when you bought the car?

Trd will give u a 1whp if your lucky, Intake maybe 5whp.
Yes a header and s-pipe will cause rasp and make it sound loud and poopy
a header will void your warrenty, but so will an intake, so you no longer have to worry about that.
a S pipe will not void it.
.........
So you don't have any future question
Alphawerks header 600 dollars, best whp gains, Megans S-pipe I've heard nothing bad about + gets good gains (200 bucks think). You'll then need to go to a muffler shop after you buy a 30" resinator and have them weld it onto your midpipe (resinator 100+, and shop cost). Lastly your CEL will come on, so you will need to get an anti-fouler and put it onto your S-PIPE, not your header.

You'll get about 15whp, from exhaust, 5 from intake, total about 20whp, making your grand total about 158whp - 160whp if you have a manual. I don't know the autos stock whp, because I drive stick.

Disreguard my statement about the intake voiding your warrenty, I didn't know it was TRD.

and I forgot to tell you this, though I really shouldn't because it will probably get the thread lock / start a flame war.

put a pulley has about a 60% chance of ruining your engine. Just search it on forums. Harmonic Vibrations. You'll see.

But then again, many people argue they've gone a long time with no problems.
