wondering what side effects can be other than CEL, leaks, gas mileage, and performance?

well im currently running without it, cause the original one is messed up...and one of the wires snapped.

yup get it fixed, you can drive without it but you will have no cloosed loop you could damge the motor if you drive it hard but most likely but you damage other components..

i closed it up with a antifouler and a screw in it. but like 20 mins ago i just bought a universal one and just gonna splice the wires...

ours is a wide band sensor so you need to have that or it will just throw another CEL

marx bosch does sell a wide band version. just make sure its the right one before doing anything to it.

I got it from advance auto parts

not sure on the ebay one.

Best bet you can do is get the OEM replacement

oh, i bought mine from bap import parts, im pretty sure its a wideband version cause he did look it up on the internet.

i just went to the advance auto parts website that you told us about and its now like 400 bucks for it.. man that is steep.
