Does anyone have anyone know how to convect shot in to HP, for example how much HP gain would u get with a 75 shot of noz...?

lol...yeah unless you internals n what not. i wouldnt go nitrous. if u do keep it low. id say about 50 shot max. its a new car and you would not want a blown engine b/c u tried to squeeze 50 more hp outa it for a few seconds. i really have no experience with nitrous but its just what i had to say however, to each their own. so if u can do it w/o detonation, i say go for it but play it safe.

generally 1 shot =1 hp, under normal circumstances....

so a 400 shot of nos(NO, N2O is dinitrous oxide) is a 400hp shot.....tC, i would say 50 is a safe number....100 if u build the internals

 

The chemical symbol really IS N2O - "NOS" is a brand name of one product.

It's the equivalent of calling all soft drinks coke or all cars chevy's.

And yes, it is also known as dinitrogen oxide or dinitrogen monoxide when a chemist is being more exacting.

 

chemically speaking, wouldnt NO provide more power then N2O

less weight, and less nitrogen to blow out the exhaust

well i think its like 60-65whp but 75shot i think its too much for the tc 55-65shot is okay

 

a 75 shot is safe to run on the stock tune. but with enough fuel and the proper tune you could run alot more.

 

75 shot mmm i wouldnt risk it but if 55 is the best for a bone stock car 65 with bolt-ons and going 65 or 75 you have to change your timeing 65 by 2% and 75 by 4% i think i dont remmember well .

 

If ZPI Stage 0's with no tuning or anything to lower intake temps (i.e. intercooler) can get over 230 whp (that is probably at least a 100 hp increase at the crank) then I am sure a proper 75 shot will definitely be ok. I think there was someone way back that was running a 125 shot on stock engine?? (Correct me if I'm wrong)

 

I've run a 75 with no problems. but was a little uncomfortable with it...i'm back down to 50.
