Default o2 sensors, cel, & anti fouls

Hey guys

i installed my dc headers a couple weeks back and the cel just started lighting up. now im trying to do the anti foulers trick but i have a couple questions on it>>>do i need to drill a half inch whole all the way thru the first non fouler or just enough to tighten the o2 sensor to the threading of the non fouler? 2nd, i was reading a post earlier where someone turned on the iginition THEN disconnected the terminal to reset the ECU. Is that even safe to do? Anything will help. Thanks

Get the CEL befor you assume anything. Get that and I can tell you what you need to check, and what kind of tests you need to run in order to resolve the problem.

i do have the cel. my question is...i used a 3/8 drill bit (cause i didnt find a 1/2) on the anti fouler so the o2 sensor fits, but its really tight. will that affect the o2 sensor in any negative way?
