Default Ok.... I Think.. NOW I KNOW... I'm going N2O next week....

After a couple months of research and some enduring flamage...

I think I'll have a Zex "Wet" fogger kit next week.... (Running a 50 shot and probably staying there for safety's sake)

It's currently wrapped with wrapping paper... but all hints point toward the inevitable....

Happy Birthday to ME!

It will probably take a while for me to get in, as I still will need to aquire a few goodies prior to install... as there are a few components that I will need beyond what comes with it...

I still will have to acquire a window switch, my guages (have the cc pillar pod already) and work on my custom trunk install... which needs to be "Modified" a bit to accomidate the tank and accessories..plus purge/heater/blow down kit... and all the other neccesary pieces of the N2O puzzle

But, the priciest part looks like it's taken care of....

Sciondad isn't the only cool father around this place!

I'm just so excited!

BTW.... it'll be at least 75 % show... and 25 % go... and another thing to colormatch BSP! So relax on it's authenticity to "All Motor" or "On the Bottle"...

I'm around here ALL THE TIME, so at least you'll all have a resource to bounce ideas off of and get advice.... especially after I blow my engine and have to rebuild it... (Thought I'd say that before anyone else does) LoL.

I'm probably one of the more cautious people around when it comes to modifying my ride, as I love her so much, so it will be a process... and will be done right.

I had to share it with my second "Disfunctional" family.... all my scionlife fellow addicts.....

Crossing my fingers and to be continued....

yeah but nitrous cant be run all the time. That bottle runs out eventually. And you have to pay to get it recharged. I like the idea tho. Good luck with it. And post up some pics.

Congrats man, nitrous if done right should do you good. You seem to know what your doing from the other nitrous post me and you were in, you pretty much said the same thing as me with every post. Keep us all updated and again good luck.

Well... It's confirmed.

It's the Zex 82021 Wet kit with the blow down and purge kit thrown in as well...

Today I went and picked up the MSD Digitally adjustable window switch, so I should be good to go safety wise and install wise...

The only other things I need to get before really running is my guages... and then the heater and auto-open will come later.

the guages total around 500 bucks... so it may be a lil' bit.

I'm going to have to paint that purple tank....

Pics will come next week!

That the best reason why I'm doing it...

A good how-to on how to rebuild your engine....

and pics to boot!

a 50 or 75 shot done right and tuned right.... just as safe as a a/m turbo option

That's what Window switches/Full Throttle Switches/A/F Guages and Fuel pressure gauges are for... almost every blown engine I've seen on N2O is because of them running 100 + or not installing and using the correct equipment, plus the research neccesary to accomplish it right.

Just like all the guys who've gone turbo and done the same thing...

Everything in moderation.... and do your homework.

In regards to homework...

Good post here if you want to go N2O....

you'll need this information to locate the tach wire.

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...ight=tach+wire

Nothing a good search can't find!

Check out my other thread.... follows the developement of the system....

Absolutely no worries....

Ignorance about N2O and poor installs and tunes cause problems... Read up on it.

the engine life will run down to 1/16 nos is not good for engine it is too much pressure on the valves pistons etc. better start running with premium or higher if you expect to use it unless you use a drop at a time or hit the button with a feather... good luck... but i wouldnt do it, so much dmg to the engine aint worth it for the 10 seconds of bosst! : ) my .02
