quick question - anyone know how i can get the trunk open without power? battery died a few weeks ago and i can't get the trunk open to take uninstall things. got the doors open b/c u can use the key, but without power, i can't unlock the trunk. thanx guys

 

you can use another car and jumper cables to get power to your battery so at least you can get the trunk open!

 

I think it's in the manual but there should be a small door on the interior of that hatch that can be popped off to access a switch that manually releases the lock.

 

if you look in the owners manual under hte emergency section it will show but to sum it up quickly you can fold the back seats down and crawl back there and on the bottom part of the plastic on the hatch youll see a small access door right in the middle just pop that off and push down on the little bolt looking thing and itll pop it open
