New Ct with 25 miles leaving dealer to find at first oil level check at 478 miles total mileage that the oil level was 1 qt. over max fill line on dip stick. This quanity is from a drain to reach the top max level on the stick.

Anyone having this problem? For this mileage at this level, any damage likely?

Any truth to the water in the oil from all the frequent short engine run times in getting the car to the US dealer a possible cause to the increase oil indication level (wouldn't this water burn off after the engine was driven long enough at one time to boil off any collected water?)?
