So I have this issue happen on cold start maybe once a month (It has to be hot outside for it to happen, around 89 degrees or hotter). My car will cold start and run like absolute garbage unless RPMs stay above 2,000. If I keep it there for about 3 minutes it fixes itself, but this time I checked the codes and it threw P0016.
I don't know if this has to do with my idle issue (this happens after the code goes away and the car runs fine), but once the car is driving or if I rev it and let the rpms drop, rpms go up and down trying to find idle and sometimes dies, it's worse going into neutral to stop at a red light, dies 4 times out of 10. If I start it back up, finds idle perfectly fine. This issue has been killing me. No codes pop up when it does this. I cleaned the throttle body and the issue got worse! Now it dies 9 times out of 10.
