Default Pistons Upgrade Question

Let say at the moment I want to build my motor but also plan to go F/I in the near feature and i got low compression pistons and such all the upgrades that is best for F/I but i don't go into F/I until awhile. Is that bad? or should i go F/I right away after upgrades?

it wouldn't be bad, but you would lose alot of hp and probably get lower mpg i suppose. just wait until you are putting in the turbo.

^i was actually thinking the same thing..
lower compession=lower hp right?
but then again lower compression can handle boost better right?

im still reading up on turboing cars and such so please correct me if im wrong

yes lower compression = less power.... adding a turbo is kind of like using high-comp pistons, it crams more air (which in turn makes more cylinder pressure or compression) into the cylinder, therefore more fuel is needed and a more powerful combustion occurs... I don't think lower compression would hurt gas mileage too much as long as the AFR's are where they are supposed to be....

yes lower comp. can handle more boost because there is less cylinder pressure
