Default possible new injector from usrt

hey everyone i just wanted to let everyone know that im in the process of geting a new injector type made for the tc. its made from USRT (www.usrallyteam.com).

these new injectors have a dual cone spray thats designed to send fuel into the combustion chamber rather than squrting them down in a single stream.

heres a bosch 440cc
http://www.usrallyteam.com/downloads.../b42_small.wmv

and heres a video of the injector from a type of vehicle (same idea tho) 380cc
http://www.usrallyteam.com/downloads...esis_small.wmv

trying to get motivation for this going so they can gauge the interest in this.

What's the benefit? Any proof of concept?

heres a pic of the valves from the intake runners

and an explaination of whats to be accomplished:
The picture on the left shows a 16v inlet port in detail. A central bridge is clearly visible. This is where the main inlet port becomes split to direct air (and fuel) towards the intake valves. The correct injector type for this inlet configuration is one where the injector nozzle sprays precisely-split fuel streams directly into each port and onto the back of each inlet valve.

Contact with the metal walls is carefully avoided. An injector that sprays a single-narrow fuel cone will wash down the manifold and head. Tuning/holding precise air/fuel ratios is thusly complicated because fuel puddles and then slowly dribbles into the combustion chamber.

Is there any proof that this design is more efficient or will increase performance?

Interesting and a good find

Looking through the tC tech manual for the cylinder head, I can't help but agree with the direct injection approach. It would help to create a bigger bang since the volume would be greater than current stock. This would bring us one step closer to the D4 technology in the IS250 platform (4GRFSE - 2.5 V6) and IS350 (2GRFSE) which has direct squirts from the pee holes into the combustion chambers creating good torque deliveryon the exhaust stroke.

I agree with the theory and can't wait if usrally are going to release this out for 440cc and 550cc versions.

I'm currently on RC 550cc injectors.

Again, a good find

You're a good lad

Would they be a plug n play injectors with Denso style connector heads? or are you required to rewire them like the RCs (square style)?

right now im at the begining process of getting the measurements required for the injector to fit, i told USRT about splicing and they will try to make it plug n play. no promises tho.
