Post pics of your Scion tC exhausts here!!!
i know my megan one i had some difference and that was when i had the silencer in and i took that out and it was amazing the huge difference, not sure about the powergains, i just know that that helped and then added a full CAI and that added even more
I think they are about the same, give or take a few hp, most of your power gain come from a catless header and a straight through(no baffles) muffler. but the combination of both is the main gain of hp on a NA tc.
most of the brand names exaggerate the gains on their exhausts.
by the way xdejablue3x i love your avatar pic...but then again whats not to love about a hot asian chic who checks out her own A$$.

I see, and your right mufflers don't make power, they FREE up already existing power. the stock drum is both quiet and restrictive, its true aim is to be as quiet as possible, the side effect of this is that its very restrictive.
You say "it sounds better"...as in its louder? the stock drum doesn't sound "bad" per say its just very quiet.
so i'm guessing this muffler you got must have better flow characteristics as well as a better(louder) tone.
the reason i suspect its restrictive is because both the in and out are on the same side which means that the in pipe empties into a chamber filled with a maze of baffles and has to travel all the way to the opposite end of the case before finding its way back out the same direction it came in...
please understand i'm not "dissing" you or your decision i'm just trying to understand why you chose it, as opposed to a straight through canister style muffler.

^^ good camera trick! at first i was like "damn dude you must live in a land of NO speed bumps and elevated driveways" then i realized what you did. Your bumper is hating it thought, you need to put a spacer flange in between you S and Mid-pipe.
By the way that ARC DTS looks HORRIBLE, what a mess...
the N II looks dope thought.
