Default Problem Tranny after new clutch installed

I have installed stage 1 excedy clutch last week and i felt it is harder for me to go into first gear while neutral. Also, harder for me to shift into 3rd (grind it couple of times) Moreover, I have had 40,000 mile on it and it is a '06 model. Are there anyone who has the same experience? What is the problem? What approach I should take afterward? Thank very much!!

Are you sure the clutch is disengaging fully?

almost sounds liek the throwout bearing was installed imprperly and is not fully depressing the pressure plate and disengaging the clutch.
