Default Problems after removing Nology Hotwires...HELP!!

i removed Nology Hotwires and went back to the stock setup. Afterwards, my car misfires like crazy in every gear at around 1500 - 2200 RPM's. Anything above that range is perfectly fine. I re-installed the Hotwires and the problem is gone.

I don't get any trouble codes or CEL. All spark plugs are OK upon inspection. I also disconnected the terminal during removal and installation to allow ECU to reset. If anybody can tell me what is wrong, please please help.

Check all the connectors and wires carefully.

But at least you went back stock.. that Nology setup is the dumbest thing I have seen in a while.

i've double checked and all the connectors and wires look like they're fine. it works fine when i reconnect the Hotwires.

yea i agree the Nology setup is dumb. i have no reason for doing it except for show purposes

anyway, i found this pic from Neothin's nology DIY. if you click the picture, u'll see where i circled in red. i seem to be missing these grommets/insulators (not sure what it is) from all my stock wires. since everything else seems to be OK, i'm guessing these missing parts are the cause of my problems and possibly causing it to arc. i would test this theory, but i don't even know where these pieces went.

does anybody know what these are called and if they could be the cause of the problem? if someone could test and try...
