I have had one on a previous car and it worked pretty well. I had to reapply a RTV high temp gasket around the butterfly valve every 3-4 months to fix the leaky seal. This was years ago so they might have fixed the problem.

My friends loved it! A switch that opens your exhaust...who wouldn't like it.

Get one you wont be disappointed.

I know Kumitsu has one, and it produce some noticable gains compared to closed cutout. Also with this, allowed the boost to go up a little.

 

yeah, less backpressure in the exhaust usually equates to raised boost level.
