Default Question about headers and CEL problem.

Ok, I have searched and searched to find my answer but have had no luck. I have read alot of topics regarding how to get rid of the CEL, but the all sound the same. I narrowed it down to which two headers I am looking at if I get one at all. I am deciding between the Alphawerks or the DC Sports. I have seen which one has better gains, but I am willing to choose the one with less gains if it has no significant problems with the CEL. I guess what I am trying to say is which one out of the two is which header is easier to get rid of CEL and which doesnt come back and bite you in the @$$ later on down the road!

I have the AW header, its not too raspy, I also have the spiper and full exhaust. I love the gains of the header, and have had no major issues at all. My biggest gripe is the CEL, I have had my header on for about 8 months and still havent managed to get that damned light off, but some people have. Its kind of a hit or miss thing. Personally, Im thinkin about going back to stock header, because Im trying to be boosted by spring.

I have DC header. It is raspy. But, overall I'm satisfied. I can't get rid of the CEL either. But, I'm not worried about it, cuz I got big plans soon.

That is my problem right now. I am wanting to boost it in the spring also so buying a header would be kind of pointless. But I am tired of running around without an exhaust, but I dont want it to sound like crap due to putting on a header. I am wanting to get the HKS Hi-power exhaust. I am definately getting it, the NST pulleys, and probably a CAI. I am really wanting to try and make about 200 whp but that would take money that I could be putting up towards the boost.

I regret getting the header, because it was a waste of money since I am going to boost.

The AW is awesome, just a pointless mod since I plan to boost
