Question about intake kits

Default Question about intake kits

Are all intake kits (short ram intakes and cold air intakes) illegal in California? If not then what intake kit is legal? Sorry for the newb question guys.

No. Many brand name aftermarket intakes are CARB legal or are currently pending for a license. Just be sure to ask the distributor that question, and if possible the CARB EO# of the product.

Can you name a few that's already CARB legal though?

The K&N intakes are CARB legal.
