Seeing how it rained the day after I put mine on and my car still runs fine I dont see why not. The filter clears the ground by quite a good distance so like he said just avoid large bodies of water ie the pacific, atlantic, mississippi river etc.
The filter has a water screen on it to ensure no small drops get in and the whole bottom side of the car has the plastic underside protecting it from any major splashbck from larger puddles so nothing to really worry about.

You know all tis talk about rivers just made me think of something. I got a cus who is getting married in July. I was going to go up to Missouri and show up as a suprise to every one. Than I thought, I better call some one and ask how high the creek is on the way there. Cause it's like back woods Missouri and you have to cross this one bridge the creek some times flows over. Even with my drop I should be high enough so the filter clears. Though I think I'll just have to take the long way around.....my car ain't no 4X4 any more.

i have a question i read somewher that the K&N CAI will make you loose low end power in a Auto i have a Auto TC is this true? because i read somewhere on this forum that you dont loose low end power its just that you gain more in the top end so makes it feel like your loosing some low end power just trying to get the right info. regardless i order my Blue CAI from K&N

depends on what rpms you spend most of your time driving in. You spend most of your time driving at 3k rpms or lower, then it might not be woth it. You frequently rev above 3K then maybe it will be worth it to you.

It will not make your CEL come on. They are not street legal, and are for "offroad use only".

Their shipping from San Diego to Maryland is $18.67, so they don't seem to be a ripoff on shipping at all.

FWIW: I just ordered mine (Blue K&N CAI for tC) from www.iRateRides.com for $206.01, including shipping. It's on backorder, but most places are these days for this item.
