Default Question about Short Shifter

Hey guys, I want to buy a Short Shifter for my 07 TC
The one I found online is the TWM stage 2 kit which comes with bronzoil shifter cable bushings and shifter base bushings

Do I need both of the Bushings? Which one is better?

doctorisotope.com hands down, best price and quality mix you will find, and his are custom, so you pick your drop and throw reduction. Tons of us have them. He has a kit that comes with both the cage risers and cable bushings, you want both. The cage risers put the bottom of the shifter back in the proper position after the pivot ball is moved (this is how they make it a short throw, even if you dont have a shorter shifter) so everything works as smoothly as possible. The cable bushings take the mush out of the shifts. Doc uses delrin for his cable bushings. I have loved mine for the past couple of years.

bushings help a ton. The stock bushings are just some cheap @$$ rubber fittings. The new bushings will make the shifter feel smooth and not like squishy jello like the stock bushings.

oh and i got the creative compacts one......I love it, don't know about the others. Mine came with bushings and a shift **** too.

The stock **** works on his shifters. And yes, you just order from his website. He is also a member on here and on yoursciontc.com

I have had both the Megan short shifter and the NST SSK (currently installed) in my car. Both are great units and serve their purpose well, however, I have never heard anything bad about Doc I's stuff.
