im thinking about getting this axle back exhaust from megan racing... http://www.meganracing.com/products/...=819&catid=133

it says it is bolt on and easy to install... does anyone have any experience with this? is this 100% easy bolt on and no welding required?

100% bolt on. Almost all of the axlebacks for the tC are bolt on that I know of. Unless you do custom.

 

ok thanks... are they reliable once bolted on including the muffler? this exhaust does not sound ricey does it?

 

Bolt on, shouldnt take more than 45 mins to install. The rubber hangers can be a pain to get off the old exhaust but just get some wd-40 to help out.

 

Not sure what the megan sounds like... but there are probably a few youtube videos of it, if you haven't been on there yet.

 

im selling my barely used megan oe-rs exhaust, its very easy to install and sounds and looks great, it was just a little too quiet for me

 

one more thing? to get the old stock exhaust off... is it just 2 bolts and hangers? in otherwords, is there anything on the stock axle back that is welded on ?

I have it, I must say, good exhaust for a N/A car... very toned down

 

great exhaust,but it is quiet..........and does not go well with header even with resonators........but if it is stock up front it will sound great.......

 

its a little louder than the trd exhaust, it looks clean though. deffinately does not sound ricey at all.
