Default Question sorta scared..

Lately my o7 tc has been letting me rev to about 7500rpm but only in 3rd n 4th gear it pulls harder but feels like its too much on the motor... has this happened to anyone else? i just have basic bolt ons

hmmm...considering 3rd gear redlines at 77 mph and 4th gear redlines at 104 mph you seem to be hauling alot of @$$.

ya like it doesnt hit the rev limiter.. i know my friend was reseting the ecu for the intake but once he did that my car just doesnt hit rev limiter in those gears.. 4th went up to 120 yesterday

doesnt the 07 and up rev limiter cut the gas when it hits 6500 RPM's? hm 120 on 4th NICE lmao when i hit 120 im on 5th and it doesnt feel like it wants to do more

No he bi-passed it when his friend hooked the Flux capacitor to his quad turbos, giving him 9000 psi of boost.

Along with a bunch of other top secret add ons that no one can know about.

The thing that i find funny about this, is that he says his motor pulls harder, when in fact, he starts LOSING power after 5500RPM.

indeed

the only way i heard about changing the rev limiter was using a greddy ultimate and the guys from puerto rico were the ones who did it

ok krider that is just un necessary.

its not a fial at all, he's not doing this car on purpose or bragging about it. his car is acting weird that could potentially destroy his motor, nothing was done on purpose.

I would take it to a reliable tuner and have them fix things. Your friend sounds like a moron., but then again, you shouldnt try to tune your car with basic bolt ons anyways
