yeah..VVTi is continuous throughout the whole Rpm range. All it means is that as the engine speed picks up..the valve timing gets more aggessive, opening earlier to allow the cylinders to fill more completely before ignition-making for bigger explosions, and more power (than the same engine would make without varied valve timing.

Also, yes, removing the rear section of your exhaust will change the exhaust tone..but not in a good way, i would imagine. Plus, exhaust restricition/backpressure creates torque..i noticed a little loss of torque (but a tad more power) as soon as i put my dc exhaust on. Removing the muffler is just stupid, and illegal.

the tC makes most of its torque around that area, so thats what youre feeling.

Hence the idea of varying the timing of your valves as engine speed increases to maximize combustion and power output...what a novel idea.. WE could call it , VAriable Valve timing!! and we'll throw a little "i" in at the end!

The 'i' just means it uber smart and stuff.

heres a tip go to auto zone and buy a can of actright oil additive then bammmm all your low end torque is back
