Default Raceland, tsudu or Megan midpipe

I am about to buy a new mid pipe for my tc but I would like to know if there is a difference between these 3 mid pipes. Quality, sound and performance wise

i used to have the megan and it sounded great without headers but then it was way too raspy with headers, i haven't really heard anything about the raceland but the tsudo is pretty much the same thing but with the flanges in the middle being a 3 bolt instead of the 2 bolt that the megan has.

Since the mid pipe is just a specially bent pipe, the only things you need to worry about are pipe diameter and fitment. Like stated the tsudo has a 3 bolt design vs. the stock 2 bolt. (ment for you to buy the whole kit obviously)

I would go with raceland personally. I know most will complain "but its raceland blah blah blah" but fact is, its a simple exhaust pipe. It will do you just fine.

A midpipe isn't going to cause rasp. You can put an aftermarket midpipe on with stock everything else and get no change in the exhaust note.

Rasp is caused by no restiction in the exhaust flow. If you go from stock, to a little bigger diameter piping without resonators or mufflers it will be nothing but rasp once you press that gas pedal. A stock muffler does exactly what its called. It muffles the exhaust to a sound deadening tone, when you add a few resonators and cats into the flow like the factory tc has, it makes it even quieter. If you replace those elements with aftermarket pipes, that have cat deletes, and such it will not only deepin the tone, but allow for more rasp to come through.

x2, done that before and there was no difference at all in performance and sound wise.

it only sounds horrible if you have headers, yes i know because i've done that before. as for putting a midpipe with stock headers and exhaust it will have no affect at all. even adding an intake and s-pipe it will still not create rasp at all.

It's been done before and there was no change. However if you put a header on with a stock exhaust it will sound terrible.

Raceland doesn't even make a midpipe that would work with every exhaust. The mounting points are different than the stock exhaust pipe so it wouldn't work. But my raceland catback exhaust has very minimal rasp.

+1 for tsudo midpipe. Recently bought the version 3 from ERZperformance. Great fitment, quality welds, deeper sound (Especially with my HKS hi-power).
