ran my car open header...
ran my car open header and damn did it run like pure anus...it sounded turbo really cool but waay to sluggish. i raced a SE-R and lost by 2 cars from a 2nd gear roll im gonna race it again with my stock exhaust back on and see what happens!!

and while your at it take the intake off at the throttle body, that be a mean machine!! haha

I had my s-pipe unbolted from the header and I had to move the car in my garage (it started raining all of a sudden), I started it up for a few seconds without the s-pipe connected and it was insanely loud.

The reason people add headers in the first place is so the exhaust can be freeeeee. Let it breath. Back in the day, we used to add a bypass valve that would bypass the exhaust and run open headers when pulled. Push it back in and exhauset would be back in line. The 70's were pretty primitive
