Hey BionicJuic3, How did your exhaust come out? Is it loud and raspy?

The ark is supposedly low on rasp do to the fact that it comes with a ginormous "resonator"(straight through muffler) from the get go, I'm sure it still may have a tid bit o rasp (with header course).

Can you take a picture of the inside of the resonator?

No, its not a bad thing but it will restrict some. Depending on the way they directed the resonator. If the mounted it so the (teeth) are leaning twards exhaust flow they will grab more of the sound and also grab the flow and resrtrict the flow more. If the mounted it where the (teeth) are leaning back with the flow of the exhaust the (teeth) wont grab as much of the sound. I prefere the strait through resonator/muffler type. They have no (teeth) that restrict flow, its basically a tube that has small holes in it and the sound goes into the holes and into the packing material in the resonator.
The only problem with the ones that don't have the (teeth), they don't work as good and you have to double up and use 2 or 3 of them to cancel all of the rasp.

correct but you got the names wrong...
the ones with the shark teeth/scale looking things are called "louvered" silly word i know, pronounced (loovered) they work exactly as matt said.

the "perforated core" are the ones with the tube with lil holes all over it.

some claim that the loss in performance of the louvered ones is minimal in contrast to how well they absorb vibrations.

Welp, i had my second resonator installed and finally no more rasp. It sounds great now! So basically my setup is this, Megan header- Invidia S-Pipe 2.5"- one 2.5" magnaflow 4"x14" resonator- another 2.5" magnaflow 4"x18" resonator to the rear through a 2.5" magnaflow 7"x14" muffler. Thats it and its all a free flowing exhaust.

Default needing a little help

I have an 06 s/c tc running 10 lbs of boost with the WR s/c intake. I have a TRD exhust, and I was looking for a bit more power...so I bought a header...Tsudo 4-2-1 w/s pipe. I started the car and was truly shocked by the Rasp!!
The extra power is nice and comes in a lot smoother. I've read many post about killing this off the evil Rasp. The best I've seen has been the Aero 25. Do some of you think this will work well with the TRD setup? Or maybe I should just waste some more time an swap back to the OEM header. I'm not looking to spend an arm and a leg to fix the problem...well maybe an arm! http://www.aeroexhaust.com/import_resonator_ar25.html
Where would this be installed on the OEM mid pipe? Thanks for the help!!

Well, if I were you, and you alredy have taht much of a setup, I would get the aero (I've heard it's the best) and have a muffle shop put it into a new, custom 2.5 inch midpipe to replace yoru OEM one.
It should not cost too much more to have them put in onto a new pipe then to have them weld it onto the old one.
