Rear Defrost Kills Car..

Rear Defrost Kills Car..
I have a a 2014 Scion tC that occasionally (more often than not recently) if I hit the Rear Defrost button, the car dies.
Starts right back up but super weird.
Anyone else have the problem and can give me a direction???
