Replacement header for my 05 scion tC
Hey everyone, its been a LONG while since i was back on this site...
Anyways, so here is my issue. got a 05 scion tC w/ the CEL on, had it checked, said it was the cat converter O_O, which goes for about a grand to get it fixed from the dealership...
so my question is, what can i get instead to replace or to fix it so that will still pass inspection? Location is in MA. I was looking into the DC headers, but i dunno if that will allow my car to pass inspection.
Any advice will be much appreciated...

I am assuming the cat in teh stock header failed, easy enough fix,get aftermarket header and have a new cat welded on in place of the secondary cat and put a CEL eliminator on the spipe. Now if you have visual inspection of the motor and it must be stock then your best bet is to hit up craigs list or ebay or the classifieds for a stock header to install.A gently used one should not be too much, and the install is one that a person with basic tools could do safely.
