i know this is a repost, because im too lazy to search for the threads relating to this topic. im thinking about gettin rid of my TRD exhaust for something that has more hp gain. can someone tell me which exhaust has what hp? thanks!

As far as full exhaust systems go , there havent been a lot of dynos but CC claims their exhaust has about 12hp gain. Not sure about the draxxas or ZPI.

Why not keep the trd and spend it on something else? My goal is HP/$. Buying one exhaust and replace it with another is a waste of money to me.

I got Creative compacts full exhaust kit, w/ upgraded 4in. magnaflow tip. No Cat And alphaworks headers. This setup sounds AWSOME!!!! sounds madd Deep and gets RASPY right after 3 grand.

 

Which muffler did you get? did you get it with a resonator? Im trying to get rid of that 3000-4000 rpm rasp with the alphawerks header and stock exhaust. If I get it I will get the high flow cat and resonator to help mellow it out a bit.

 

I got magnaflow muffler w/ no resonator. It is a straight thru exhaust from the engine no restrictions. It does get very raspy after 3 grand i just shift before 3 grand when i am driving normaly and it sounds fine. Just a deep rumble!

 

Any way to get a sound clip? Ive heard the Borla setup and it seems too loud and high pitched for me. Id like to get an idea of the magnaflow sound before I drop the cash.

Not sure if youre asking me or not, but on the CC exhaust system the hp difference between the Borla and Magnaflow muffler is probably negligible. All I know is after hearing the Borla setup I know its not what Im looking for.

 

I would suggest going with precision muffler they have the best kit out right now for sound and performance gains. Plus its only 395.00 for FULL CATBACK and 285 for axel back. You cant beat that price or the tone. NO RASP GUYS.
