Here is the answer to the question of how much the stock tC's weigh. This is with factory potenzas on them with about 200 miles on them. So all the tread.
Then there are my 18's with brand new kumho tires on them. They weigh about the same. I dont know about the Rs 1.0 wheels tho.

the extra junk, badge #, rareness, wheels, and etc, are neat, but the most important thing is that its red. if it were any other color, i wouldnt be driving it. (and if red could be had on a regular tc, i'd have that).

 

My car isn't a RS01... it was painted RED. Torch RED.
his original colour was Black.
i will convert it in RS01 i think, should be much cheaper.

Hmm, I think this is the first I've heard of someone trying to turn a scion into an RS. That's kinda lame if you ask me, dont put RS badging on your red tC, just debadge it and make it your own! I dont think a lot of poeple have painted there tC's red, so that alone is pretty unique! Just keep the badges off of it, you dont want to be like some cool kid putting Vtech on his civic.

You don't have the only tc with a body kit, there are tons of them on scionlife alone with lip kits, body kits and wide body. Your badging idea in my opinion is pretty lame. Its not an RS tC so don't put the badges on it. It reminds me of a Civic putting Spoon decals/window stickers on their car without a spoon built motor, or any spoon performance product.

u painted ur tC red?!! u suck! lol! well i hope ur friend knows that if he sells u the RS equipment off of his car, he isnt gonna get much for it. matter of fact, he prolly wont be able to sell it as an RS1 without the badging.

and sry but it is kinna lame that u painted it red. i got no problem with it but shoulda got a real one! lol good luck with ur car man. u can be 2501 of 2500. haha

I painted my car RED cause i just like red cars.
and they dealer didn't had red at that moment and i didn't want to wait.
So i painted it RED.
So you think that the the Scion showcar they have painted Candy Green also a Lame car is.
Just because it's painted Green.

I read your post correctly, its the way you worded it. You said "its unique in the whole Antilles", then you said "i guess i have the only one kitted". That lead me to believe you were implying you have the only kitted tC in general. If you were to say i guess i have the only kitted tC in Antilles that would have made more sense.

fyi, lime green with a splash of gold pearl, custom mixed. showed off by FiveAxis and should not be taken lightly. their cars are top notch SEMA and are normally highlights of the show. if anyone thinks this a lame car, than you have to be shot.

05-RS1.... there's nothing wrong with him painting his car red... only the part where he wanted to turn it into something it wasn't.

i can understand you liking red and thus painting it as such, but please don't try to badge it something that it's not. it defeats the entire purpose of having release series to begin with. as a matter of fact, one of last year's SEMA show-stopping tC's was ninja red (way before the RS1.0 even came out) and when the RS1.0 did came out, he didn't care nor changed the fact that it was still born as a regular tC. i must say though that this year at SEMA he changed his paint again to a sky blue.

anyway, out of respect for the RS owners, please don't badge your car as one. even if it's a nice red color. and RS owners, there's nothing wrong with another person painting a car another color... even if it looks like yours... people just have to make sure to rememeber your roots.

rs01<my tc ive killed plenty on the streets. to me its just rims and colors is what the difference is.

i have pics of my rs1 rims with tires on a digital scale... its wieght was 41 lbs. and thats with tires. so i guess there isnt much wieght difference between the two
