Default S-Pipe comparison

I hope this isn't a repost, I did a search and went through 4 pages but still didn't see a comparison.

I plan on running an Alphawerks header and want to know what would be the best S-Pipe to use with it. The only ones i know of out there are the megan, CC, and i guess Draxxas just recently released one. I read about problems with the flange on the Megan not matching up right or something so you have to cut the pipe and the bolts don't work or something so I'm a little worried to be using that one.

Can I please get some feedback on what others have out there and how they are working for you and how the install went.

i have the megan s-pipe and yes i had to cut extra pipe off the end. it was confusing at first because i thought i was doing something wrong. but if i had known what to do before install it would have been no problem at all. it is a good product other than that minor flaw that is easily resolved.

+1 for the Megan, you can get the pipe for $100 and all you need to do is 3min of work to cut the pipe and install. Get what you prefer.

Wow, that's the first time I heard that you had to actually "cut" the megan pipe to install it.

We have the ZPI S-pipe and full exhaust.

Uhh? How so? SC doesn't change anything related to the exhaust.

Yea that part sucked, but the Stainless steel pipe only cost me $100shipped. So I cant complain..

but the full megan headerback (spipe+catback) sounds awesome.

i have the draxas. im sure it free'd up some hp but u cant really feel it i dont think. i think the zpi, cc, and draxas would yeild very similar gains. there is little to no difference between them. i think zpi relocated the o2 bung but thats about it.

Well the real way to gain power from the s-pipe is FI. NA guys prolly wont feel a thing unless its a full cat-back after the s-pipe.

When we were N/A and added the ZPI S-pipe + Full exhaust, I felt every last bit of the increase. The mid range comes in like none I've felt before. The mid-range is where the sweet spot is. Clayton1 verified the same feeling on the butt Dyno as well, except he has only the ZPI exhaust. I have not felt other exhaust on the tC, but I know that you DO feel a difference with the ZPI exhaust. I also don't know of other dyno validations around. But someone did dyno after a ZPI S-pipe was added, and gained as much as 8whp in parts of the power band.

There was a post on here earlier that stated that one of the S pipes hit the new oil pan that comes with the supercharger.
