Ok so I decided to go and replace all the hoses under the hood with Samco.......my question is kinda stupid cause I do not have a caliper with MM readings to measure......so does anyone know....

What is the MM of the Power steering pump hoses,they are two differant sizes.

Waht is the MM of the hose that goes off the valve cover to the CAI,looks the same as the first hose on power steering pump.

Want to step it up for the Spring show season and no one else up here has any Samco on their cars and honestly I love how my orange radiator hose look.......

any help on this would be great,as I have to buy it by the meter from Samco and it gets spendy fast to buy the wrong stuff......

I know the vacume hoses are 1.4" and I can get that fairly cheap and the radiator tank hose is 5/16" and the fittings for the CAI are 3"-2.5".

So if anyone can help on this please do......I wanna get this right the first time,plus once it is on and tested we can all use this info to upgrade our hoses.......

 

watching!! ive been thinking about doing this for a while. replacing all of the hoses. to my understanding the only ones that cant be replaced are the AC lines...

 

yeah pretty much.....cannot change the fuel line either.......I know my radiator over flow hose is 7.9mm and the vacume hoses are 6.5mm from what I can tell......just need to figure out the heater hoses,I think it is gonna look good,I also am ordering the 3-2.5" pieces that go on throttle body to CAI and from CAI to filter......waiting to hear back from Samco on what the cost is on those,my guess is $25 each.....spendy but nice to have matching hose in the bay.

 

Hey Brian let me try and find my Caliper and measure those for you. May have to wait til tomorrow though cause its raining pretty good here.

 

Sir you area a saint.......I need the heater hose measurements,and the hoses on the power steering resivour.....it has two differant sizes.

I figureed out the other hoses,and bought a cheap kit to test fit the vacume hoses size wise before spending $25 a meter on hose......I figure I will have it all done for xmas........Cindy wanted orange so merry xmas to her.......lol......seriously......that will be her xmas gift.......

 

brock the measurements need to come from the metal parts and not the outside of the hose.
