I installed the hose kit yesterday and the lower hose dose not fit correctly. The upper hose is perfect but the lower hose does not have the right turn that is needed to fit onto the thermostat housing. I left the lower hose off because even when I tried to twist it to get it to fit. It touched the A/C compressor. Looks like they need to revamped the lower hose again. Yet another Scion aftermarket prt that doesn't fit right.

 

i had ordered mine a while ago and when i got it i was thinking the same thing. i just didnt have time to install it.. thx for the info i guess i should return mine and get another one then =)

 

it's not something simple like you turn the hose around is it?

btw, could you guys measure the inside diameter for me? I need to order a water temp sender adapter, but can't find any size for the TC hoses.

It's not that simple. The lower hose is different than the one that comes with this kit.

 

can you please measure the Inside Diameter of the hose please?! It would help me out a whole lot

 

that sucks. maybe the ZPI hoses fit better?
