Default Scanguage data requested (TPS, engine load)

My girlfriend's TC was recently getting a P2112 error. I was fortunate to find a used throttle body for $50 versus the $900 at the dealership. I cleaned the used throttle body with a carburetor cleaner and replaced the faulty TB. When I started her car, the motor would, rev, idle, rev, idle... it continued to do this until I turned the motor off. I started it about 10 minutes later and it did the same thing until I shut it down. I tried again about 10 minutes later and the rev-idle was gone but I noticed that the idle RPM was unusually high. It was about 1500 rpm even though the car appeared to be relatively warmed up. TPS was measuring 17-18 and the LOD was a little under 20. I drove around for about 10 minutes and then came back to do some more research.

About 1 hour later, I started the car again and the RPM's dropped to an acceptable value, 700-800 RPM. However, the TPS at idle was still showing 16-18 and the LOD was similar.

Can someone please give me TPS and LOD numbers when their stock TC is warmed up and idle? If your car is modded, I will accept those numbers as well but please let me know what mods have been done to your car.

Thanks in advance.

WTº 186º
IATº 84º
LOD 12-13
TPS 16-17

@750rpm, no accessories running.

Your load number seems oddly high. I am running 0w-30 oil, and have a recently cleaned K&N drop-in.

Warmed & idling, all accesories - a/c, lights, radio - off:

TPS = 14-15
LOD = 15 steady

CAI, header, exhaust. 5w-30 synthetic.

Thanks fellow TC owners. I just wanted to confirm that the car is functioning normally and it appears to be.

Yes the car's ECU was probably just taking some time re-learning how to operate with the (now) proper intake airflow from the new TB.

Good job on the repair!
